My art is a play of colors, tastes, memories and feelings. Nothing is obvious here. Fruits, views and objects are disassembled into pieces. Each painting may have different meaning for you than for me.
They are also in my childhood memories. Sweet, sticky, covered in dark chocolate - dried plums. I remember their texture, the soft, melt-in-the-mouth, slightly smoked chocolate smell and the rustling blue paper.
What does a plum look like? Dark purple skin and golden inside, slightly red at the very seed. On my painting, she has undergone a transformation from a fresh one picked straight from a grandma tree to a dried one covered with the sweet chocolate, reminiscent of a carefree childhood.
